Abstract

The project EMRP SIB 58 Angles “Angle Metrology” started in September 2013. The aim of this project is to ensure the realization and dissemination of the SI angle unit ‘radian’ according to the demands from different levels – from high scientific work to industrial applications through developing facilities and novel methods of calibrations. In this article main purposes of the project will be discussed. Work packages of the project will be also presented in the paper including those work packages in which Angle Laboratory takes part.
