Abstract
In recent years, more and more detailed legislative requirements have appeared, which determine the need to provide IT systems with time signal sources, which meets specific technical and quality requirements. This applies to various economic sectors, such as banking and financial markets, telecommunication and the energy sector. The development and increasing dissemination of information and communications technology and dependent technologies, creates the need to provide very precise and reliable time synchronization services. The e-CzasPL project is geared towards providing services, that will be an extension and alternative to the commonly used time synchronization solutions and will be more trusted, along with improved performance and reliability of the infrastructure responsible for the generation of the timescale, closely related to the Polish legal time.
