The practical using of lasers in hallmarking

Abstract

This is a continuation of the article “Lasers in Assay Offices” stated in the previous issue of the Journal “Metrology and Hallmarking” Nr 1(12) 2016. The article describes the method of marking for articles of precious metal alloys, using a laser marking and discusses the quality and durability of images made at the Regional Assay Office in Kraków and branches.
