Abstract
The work on the metrological terminology focuses on ”purely metrological” issues, that is on measurement, quantities, units of measurement, measurement result properties of measuring instruments etc. Thus sometimes it is felt that the metrological terminology may be created, developed and applied as terminology in other fields of knowledge. However, the specific role that the metrology plays in all areas of human life makes necessary that metrological metrology must meet requirements resulting from the commonness of metrology applications. So creation and implementation of this terminology must be carried into effect with regard to this commonness.
