Abstract
The paper presents the issue of legal metrological control of exhaust gas analyzers brought into use based on type approval decision or as a result of assessment of conformity. It describes how the analyzer measures the concentration of poisonous gas in car exhaust fumes. In addition, presents the requirements to be met by analyzer and describes the process of subsequent verification of given cases. The stand for the legalization of analyzers where measurements were performed is located at Local Office of Measures in Bialystok.
