Abstract
Introduction of foreign terms into the language of metrology brings a lot of doubts and questions. It is indispensable to adhere to the principles of linguistic correctness. In the paper below some striking examples of ill terminology are cited and ways are indicated to ensure a uniform and correct terminology.
