25.02.2015Delegation of Central Office of Measures visiting Wrocław University of Technology

On 6 February 2015 the delegation of the Central Office of Measures (GUM) with Janina Maria Popowska – President of GUM, Włodzimierz Popiołek – Vice-president of GUM and Zbigniew Ramotowski - Director of Length and Angle Department visited the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics at the Wrocław University of Technology.

The guest paid a visit to the Micro and Nanostructures Department headed by professor, habilitated doctor engineer Teodor Gotszalk. The agenda included the visit in the Basic and Advanced Optoelectronics Laboratories and Laboratory of Structural X-Ray Research.

The aim of the visit was to discuss the range and forms of the future cooperation between both institutions, particularly the participation of GUM in the conference NanoScale ‘2016 which is under preparation at the Technical University and GUM’s participation in the discussion on topics and ways of joint participation in the scientific-research projects within EMPIR programme as well.

These questions have been discussed during the meeting with dean of the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics of the Wrocław University of Technology, professor, habilitated doctor engineer Andrzej Dziedzic and professor, habilitated doctor engineer Teodor Gotszalk.
