Call 2022 Stage 1 within the European Partnership on Metrology is now open

12 January 2022 EURAMET (the European Association of National Metrology Insitutes, responsible for realization of Partnership on Metrology) has opened Stage 1 of the Call 2022 within the European Partnership on Metrology and invites to submit potential topics for projects in the following Targeted Programmes:

– Health

– Integrated European Metrology

– Metrology support for Digital Transformation

– Metrology support for Regulation and Standards

– Research Potential

Detailed information on the Partnership on Metrology, on Call 2022 stages, the descriptions of the Call Scopes as well as all guides and templates are available on the EURAMET website: www.metpart.eu

Stage 1 of the Call offers all interested stakeholders the opportunity to influence the R&D projects undertaken by the European metrology community by identifying the challenges, problems and needs connected with measurements. Proposals submitted should fall within the scopes of the respective Targeted Programmes. Documents prepared by the European Metrology Networks, EURAMET Technical Committees and, for standardisation, CEN-CENELEC could be also helpful.

Proposals may be submitted by all interested parties, including those outside the metrology research community (e.g. industry, metrology end-users, standardisation bodies).

Potential Research Topics, will be prioritised and then the list of Selected Research Topics will be published in Stage 2 of the Call. The Stage 2 is the submission phase for Joint Research Projects. External partners are also eligible to participate in the projects as funded, unfunded or collaborators.

National Metrology Institutes and Designated Institutes are internal partners in the projects realised under the Partnership on Metrology. Poland is one of the members of the Partnership therefore the participation in projects of the external partners may also be financed from EU funds.

The maximum of cofunding for external partners varies depending on the Targetted Programme and is in the range, for this year’s Call, from 20 % of the total budget of a single project for Research Potential to 35 % for projects in Health and Metrology Support for Digital Transformation.

The submission of proposals for Potential Research Topics is possible via the EURAMET Partnership website (link above) by 21 February 2022 23:59 CET.
