Visit of the Head of the Ukrainian National Science Centre Institute of Metrology in GUM
In the day of 7 May 2018 GUM was visited by the head of the NSC Institute of Metrology from Kharkov, prof. Pavel Neyezhmakov. The main task of the visit was to sign an agreement of cooperation between our institutions.
The agreement establishes close cooperation between GUM and NSC Institute of Metrology, such as possibility to conduct joint projects, exchange employees etc. During the meeting with the management team of GUM Prof. Neyezhmakov showed presentation about Ukrainian metrology system and was acquainted with the structure of the Polish metrology. Important part of the visit was also tour of GUM laboratories. It was occasion to exchange many opinions about detailed work of the laboratories in such important fields of metrology as mass, ionizing radiation, length, thermometry, electricity and magnetism.
Head of NSC Institute of Metrology thanked President of GUM, Dr Włodzimierz Lewandowski and GUM staff for their hospitality and invited him to visit Institute of Metrology in Kharkov.
