Information on the training course "The practice of evaluating uncertainty of measurement"

Training topic: The practice of evaluating uncertainty of measurement

Duration of training: 2 days

Purpose of training: Uncertainty in Measurement according to the GUM methodology (Guide to Uncertainty in Measurement) recommended by international documents for the development of measurement data, such as JCGM 100, JCGM 101, JCGM 102 and JCGM 106*

Training in the form of: lectures and exercises

Scope of the training:

1. Basics of the uncertainty of measurement theory

2. Methods for calculating the extension interval

3. Promotion of Monte Carlo decomposition

4. Procedure for estimating the uncertainty of measurement

5. Examples of evaluation of uncertainty of measurement

6. Discussion of the interpretation of Supplements 1 and 2 to the GUM

Moderator: Dr. Ing. Paweł Fotowicz (pawel.fotowicz@gum. gov.pl, tel. 22 581 94 37)
